Feedback Email re: B&E reduction in Grandview-Woodlands:
I would like to thank the Public Affairs Section for your Public Service announcement that was published/broadcast a few weeks ago regarding the B&E's that had been occurring through open windows and doors, and the NPO & Volunteers at GWCPC for flooding the area with leaflets advising of crime prevention techniques.
In our Crime Control meeting yesterday, it was noticed that our occurrence rate for B&E's was zero for the specific area within the Grandview-Woodlands area of District 2, and that previously in this same area we had been hit quite hard.
My deepest gratitude for your assistance in this matter. It was greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
A/S/Sergeant 1300 Doug Bain

District 2, Crime Control Officer
