The GWCPC News Beat
Volunteers help design, write, and produce a quarterly newsletter. We work to keep residents and businesses informed of all activity within our neighbourhood as well as police initiatives, success stories, available resources, property crime awareness, and other related articles.

GWCPC Website
Our website has just been given a makeover and will be updated by volunteers who also contribute to the content. It is a valuable tool for public education offering information on crime prevention and safety.

Other Resources Provided
  • Educational materials (i.e. brochures on safety and crime prevention) for your next meeting, block party or event. There are many to choose from and we’re always updating and adding more.
  • Bicycle ID Sheets record identifying features such as serial number, color etc. in case it is stolen. You can find your bike serial number by turning the bike upside down and looking on the frame right under the pedal assembly. Including a photo of your bike as well as engraving an identifying number on the bicycle frame may help you recover your bike should it be stolen.
  • Engraver. Our office has an engraver, which can be signed out or used at our office to engrave your belongings. Police recover stolen property every day, but are often unable to return items because owners cannot positively identify them. Adding your Driver’s License number can help reunite you and your missing/stolen property.
  • *A copy of your driver’s license is required when borrowing the engraver.
